Jeff Numan of Numan Films reached out to help work on this pitch for a doc series. The show would follow the host Jim Agapito as he travelled abroad to learn about and document how punk music has been expressed across the globe. As a music genre that focuses on fighting power structures that repress and silence, it's no wonder punk music has such a strong presence everywhere. The real mystery is why their stories haven't been told. I still hold out hope this series will get picked up so I can flush this idea out more with the use of textures and collage, harkening back to the original punk aesthetic.
