This music video was made for the local musician Sala (Ariane Jean), for the song "Les pieds dans le béton" (Feet in Concrete). I was given full creative freedom to make a music video for this, from the premise, design and animation, Ariane put a lot of trust in me to bring her song to a visual medium. The songs central theme is about indecision, and taking the nuance out of decision making. To reinforce this I went with a primarily black and white palette, used a coin flip as a reoccurring visual, and had black bars on the top and bottom of the screen for most of the animation. This helps add to the feeling of being trapped that can come from indecision. These black bars melt away at the climax of this song as the character freefalls in their ambivalence.
